A Quieter Month (On Purpose)

Just a quick one this month. We've been slowing down on new features and spending more time improving the code and processes behind the scenes. Less visible, but it matters. A few things have shipped though.

Inactive Mode

We've added an inactive mode. If you don't listen to the stories we generate for 30 days, we'll pop you onto an inactive list and send you an email. This frees up your slot for someone else on the waiting list. You can log in and switch yourself back to active at any time, no drama.

We're really lucky that 95% of users who are still with us by day 3 tend to stick around long-term. Our very first sign-ups are still listening. But for that 5% where Daily Adventure just isn't the right fit and they don't get around to closing their account, we can now reallocate those resources to new families waiting to join.

New Voices

After some testing and feedback, we've added a few more French language voices to the story generation. You can preview them now from the voice selection stage in your story settings.

Repeating Calendar Items

For those who don't use Google Calendar, we've added the option to manually create repeating items. You can set which day each week they should generate, so your stories still pick up on the regular stuff happening in your child's week.
